Sam carries on the tradition of his father, attorney Mandell Bernstein who served as a leading member of both the legal and civic communities in Detroit. Sam was raised in Detroit and attended Mumford High School. He attended Michigan State University, where he graduated with a B.A. in education and political science. After college, Sam earned a J.D. at Wayne State University in Detroit.

Almost four decades ago, he established his own practice in Michigan.  Today, his firm maintains an active personal injury practice in Ohio as well. The firm boasts an experienced team of legal professionals dedicated to client service in Ohio.

Sam has been a frequent lecturer on personal injury rights at law schools, bar associations, and community organizations.  He is licensed to practice law in Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Florida, and New York.
